Mike Downes BA BPI MRTPI

I started out as a Local Government Planning Officer and then worked for several major house building companies as Land Manager and Strategic Planning Advisor before joining the Practice in 1996.  With over 20 years’ experience of both public and private sectors, I boast valuable insights into the workings of Local Authority, pressure groups and the development industry.  As such, I am the company’s ‘go-to guy’ for local plan site promotion work, Development Control outsourcing from local authorities and major housing developments.  I am a fully accredited member of the RTPI.

A quirky fact about me: I was formerly a football coach and regularly traded coaching tips with Brian Clough at our local newsagent in West Bridgford.
